Ideas/plans for Ellerby station building on a bridge.

The platforms are at right angles to the station building, roughly bases on Keighley, but with influences of Rothbury and Loughborough
on the Great Central Railway. The old Westbourne park was like this too (GWR info website).

I want the station to have the feel of a large town in South Yorkshire, North Midlands which is primarily British Rail Midland region, but gets some
East Coast mainline express services too. It is being modelled around 1967 to have the old midland style red signs, and to run rolling stock starting
around 1960 and then being a (neglected) station that has yet the receive its BR blue corporate update, and will run rolling stock right up to around 1980.
A bit of leeway I know, but I even though I want to run some BR blue diesels. I don't want the arrows look to the station.

Front view.

Alternate front with smaller end building for the left platforms steps down.

View from the bridge with engine sheds in back ground. Steps to platforms going down behind/from the buildings. There will be buildings on the platforms too
but it is the main building I want to get the feel of first. All will be scrathc built, although I like the GCR Bachmann release for reference.

Track plan - the kink next the signal box is to be relaid. Ambitious I know, but should be fun to operate (with DCC)

Photo of the track before being packed away. Station building off to the left (180 degree rotation to the plan above).
