i wanted to create something that has a sense of grandeur, and also references 'stairway to heaven'.

some of the source photographs, scans and stock sources used to create the artwork. the inverted scissors were used for the starburst to give it texture.
for the inside cover family photographs had the images replaced with shots of the band from the 1971 tour. the badges are real and tickets and flyers were also added.
the photograph of the band is from the internet and the stairs from an image library. the sky and ruined church images were photographed by me.
